Ready to unleash your inner fighter? Our high-intensity interval training (HIIT) boxing class will get your heart racing and your fists pumping. Join Lucy, Founder of TheBox, the city's first boxing-inspired fitness studio, in our car park at Beach on Wednesdays from 5.30pm for a 45 min knockout workout that combines cardio and strength training for a full-body challenge.
What is HIIT?
High intensity interval training sessions are commonly called HIIT workouts. Research has found that HIIT is a great way of improving your VO2 Max. This is essentially a measure of how fit you are. This type of training involves repeated bouts of high intensity effort followed by varied recovery times. You want to go all out for maximum results.
You'll learn that your body is your gym – gaining overall fitness using bodyweight resistance, mixed with plyometrics and strength moves.
