Charity Partners

At Projects, we’re committed to giving back to the communities that support us. That’s why each of our locations proudly partners with a local charity, chosen to reflect the values and needs of the area.

Through fundraising events, volunteer opportunities and collaborative initiatives, we aim to make a meaningful impact and support the incredible work these organisations do.

Justlife

At Projects Ship Street, we’re proud to support Justlife, a Brighton-based charity working with people living in Temporary Accommodation - a form of homelessness that is often hidden but increasingly common.

Many people experiencing homelessness in Brighton aren’t sleeping rough. Instead, they’re living in insecure, often unsuitable temporary housing, sometimes for months or even years. This can have a huge impact on health, wellbeing and connection to community.

Justlife works alongside people living in Temporary Accommodation to make their experience shorter, safer and healthier. Through their Health Engagement Project, they support people to access healthcare, attend appointments, manage long-term conditions and navigate complex systems like benefits and housing.

Their Social Connection Project helps reduce isolation by rebuilding confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging. Justlife also provides specialist, trauma-informed support for women, many of whom have experienced abuse or unsafe housing.

Survivors' Network

At Projects Nile House, we’re honoured to partner with Survivors’ Network, Sussex’s specialist rape crisis centre, supporting people affected by sexual violence and abuse.

For many survivors, the impact of these experiences isn’t always visible - and support can feel difficult to access. Survivors’ Network exists to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where people are listened to, believed and supported, whatever their age, gender, or when the experience happened.

Survivors’ Network offers a range of trauma-informed services across Sussex, including a helpline and email support, counselling, specialist advocacy through the criminal justice system, and group activities that help rebuild confidence and connection. Their approach is always survivor-led, centred on choice, care and empowerment.
