Projects Brighton Ltd – Code of Conduct

Projects Brighton Ltd is a collaborative community dedicated to treating all individuals respectfully and in accordance with our house rules. The following Code of Conduct ensures fair use of the space and the best possible experience for all members:

Clean and Tidy Spaces

  • Keep all workspaces clean and tidy.

  • If you find an area untidy, inform the Front Desk and it will be addressed promptly.

No Reserving of Spaces

  • Do not reserve chairs, desks or tables by leaving belongings unattended.

  • Use lockers for storage.

Registering Guests

  • All guests must register at the Front Desk upon arrival.

  • Guests must always be accompanied by a member.

  • Guests are welcome for up to 1 hour, once per week, on weekdays only.

  • Longer visits require a half-day or full-day pass.

Meeting Room and Event Bookings

  • Members can book meeting rooms and event spaces, billed via their next invoice.

  • Cancellation notice required:

    • 48 hours for meeting rooms

    • 10 working days for The Globe Room, custom space packages or whole-building bookings

  • Provisional bookings may be held for:

    • 24 hours if within 5 working days

    • 48 hours if more than 5 working days away

  • If provided technology fails and cannot be resolved, compensation will be agreed.

Phone Calls

  • Calls should be taken in private offices or phone booths.

  • Calls in communal areas must be made with headphones.

Noise Consideration

  • Maintain a professional environment. Respect both quiet workers and those engaging in open conversation.

Shared Seating

  • Seating areas should be shared where possible.

Dog-Friendly Environment

  • Dogs are allowed in serviced offices with the consent of other office members.

  • Dogs must follow the Projects dog policy.

Access Hours

  • Follow your membership plan’s access times.

  • Do not bring guests into the space when staff are not present (outside 9am–5pm weekdays).

Memberships

  • Memberships are non-transferable. Only named members may use the space.

Billing and Invoicing

  • Invoices must be paid in full by their due date.

  • Late payments may incur fees.

  • Projects may use third-party debt collectors; all recovery costs will be payable by the customer.

  • Using Projects as a registered business address requires prior approval.

Prohibited Activities

  • Illegal activities, harassment or violations of privacy are strictly forbidden.

Alcohol Consumption and Conduct

  • Alcohol is only served to those of legal drinking age, with valid ID (Challenge 25).

  • Service may be refused to anyone intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.

  • Behaviour or safety concerns must be reported to staff immediately.

Contact Information and Notices

  • Members must provide contact information and agree to receive communications from Projects.

Privacy and CCTV

  • Projects ensures privacy and data protection with secure systems.

  • CCTV is in operation for security purposes.

Breach of Rules

  • Breaches may result in removal or prevention of future access.

Amendments

  • Projects reserves the right to amend these rules at any time.

Projects Brighton Ltd – House Rules

At Projects we pride ourselves on being kind, welcoming and supportive. These house rules exist to keep our community inclusive, collaborative and enjoyable for everyone.

Respect and Consideration

  • Be kind, welcoming and considerate of others.

  • Keep noise levels, language and shared space use professional.

  • Spaces are not to be used for social gatherings outside regular hours without prior consent.

Visitors

  • Visitors are welcome for up to 1 hour, once per week, on weekdays only.

  • All visitors must register at the Front Desk and be accompanied by a member.

  • Bringing more than one guest outside of office hours requires prior approval by emailing hello@projectsclub.co.uk.

  • Longer visits require purchase of a half-day or full-day pass.

Cleanliness

  • Place crockery, cutlery and waste in the dishwashers or bins provided.

  • Members are responsible for tidying up after themselves.

Children and Dogs

  • Children and dogs are welcome but must always be accompanied by a carer.

  • Dogs must be on a lead and not allowed on communal furniture.

  • Please see the Projects dog policy in the app.

Safety and Security

  • Outside of office hours, if you experience entrapment or a safety concern, call our security team on 01273 775707.

  • Projects reserves the right to charge a call-out fee if the reason is not deemed essential.

Smoking and Vaping

  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the building or on roof terraces.

  • Fines may be issued if alarms are triggered or disruption caused.

Behaviour and Conduct

  • Disrespect, intimidation, harassment, violence or discriminatory behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated towards members, visitors or staff.
