The Process

The Challenge:

Coworkies needed to host the world’s first international Community Manager Summit, bringing together 40 professionals from 14 countries in a way that felt intimate, hands-on, and inspiring — not like a standard conference.

They required:

  • Flexible space for workshops, talks, and networking

  • Seamless flow between sessions

  • A venue team that valued hospitality and detail as much as they did

Our Solution:
Projects offered the Globe and Rooftop spaces in
tandem, enabling transitions between collaborative workshops and social networking moments. Our events team supported with layout planning, A/V setup, and guest hospitality, ensuring everything  ran smoothly and authentically aligned with Coworkies’ vision.

Words from our partner

"The first edition of COMS set out to create a day designed entirely by and for community managers, a way to honor the importance of their work and give back to the people who so often give to others.

The day was filled with peer-to-peer learning, honest reflection, and practical growth, brought to life through workshops that felt human, intentional, and hands-on. Projects was the natural choice to host us: their team embodies the same values we care about: hospitality, generosity, and attention to detail that make people feel truly seen.

From the thoughtful design of Nile House to the genuine warmth of every staff member, Projects wasn’t just a venue; it was a partner. Looking back, we couldn’t have wished for a better home for our very first edition."

Attendee Testimonial

"I was so amazed by the whole event, the weeks leading up to it, the created moments together, all the small attentions to detail, the softness, the kindness, and the whole setup. It still makes me a bit emotional thinking back on it. Thank you!"

- Yanna, Community Manager at StartDock in Amsterdam
