At Projects, our Ambassador Programme is all about bringing together brilliant minds from different industries to inspire and energise our coworking community. From wellness experts to creative changemakers, our ambassadors are doing some incredible things - here’s a round-up of what they’ve been up to recently, and what’s coming next.
Carolina Sanders – Health + Wellbeing
What she's been working on
Carolina continues to support people through powerful 1:1 breathwork sessions – helping them release stored emotions, process trauma, and feel more safe and grounded in their daily lives. She shared a recent testimonial that really captures the impact of her work:
"Working with Carolina has been genuinely life-changing. I had three one-to-one breathwork sessions, and each one felt like a huge release of emotion within the safe and supportive environment she creates.
I was able to process and let go of things I hadn’t even realised were holding me back, and I experienced a physical sense of discomfort and blocks being cleared from my body—something I never expected to say - as someone who can be a bit skeptical about alternative therapies!
What’s been most incredible is how it's helped me make significant life changes with complete clarity and confidence—decisions that have massively improved my life. I’m so grateful for the impact it's had on me and would 100% recommend Carolina’s sessions to anyone"
If you are looking for deep support you can get in touch with Carolina to book in and receive a Projects’ Member Discount on her 1:1 packages.
What’s coming up
To mark Mental Health Week in May, Carolina is releasing a pre-recorded breathwork and meditation session that Projects members can use anytime – perfect for taking a moment to reset during a busy workday.
How you can get involved
Come along to any of Carolina's Conscious Connected Breathwork sessions - for the summer months we'll be moving them to The Rooftop to make the most of the sunshine.
Sarah Ticho – Storytelling + Immersive Tech
What she’s been working on
Sarah has had a whirlwind few months. She hosted the first public exhibition of SOUL PAINT in central London presented in partnership with Eastern City and in support of The Campaign Against Living Miserably. It sold out before opening and received fantastic coverage in Secret London, Cosmopolitan, Timeout New Wave Magazine. They also created a beautiful video that helps share more about what exactly Soul Paint is and it's intent to expand into new places and spaces.
Sarah presented at Past Makes Future, a brilliant festival in Portsmouth, led by local artist Thomas Buckley, and More Culture Less Medicine and also got to showcase at The Big Creative UK Summit at Kings Cross.
She also headed to SXSW in Austin where she was the Future Art and Culture Ambassador at UK House. She said:
"This was a great opportunity to return to SXSW after SOUL PAINT took home the Special Jury Award last year. It was particularly wonderful to pass the baton on to this years winner, and Brighton locals: Blast Theory who won the same award with their incredible piece: PROOF AS IF PROOF WERE NEEDED. Huge congratulations to Anne Rupert, Matt Adams and all the team at Blast Theory."
What’s coming up
SOUL PAINT is heading to Paris for Image Ouverte and NewImages Festival and has been nominated for the XR for a Cause award at Laval Virtual.
How you can get involved
Support local creativity. Fabrica’s team ran the Brighton & Hove 10K to raise money for creative mental health projects – they’d still fundraising here and would love your support. Their community work offers a lifeline for so many people across Brighton & Hove and Sussex. As the cost-of-living crisis deepens, their work is more vital than ever-helping to reduce isolation, develop resilience, and ease the pressure on health services.
Bud Johnston – Social Impact
What he’s been working on
Bud’s consultancy, BOXLESS, just turned one. In the past year, they’ve worked with a national governing body to reshape their approach to social and environmental responsibility, and Bud recently travelled to Oslo to run workshops with young people from across Europe as part of the Erasmus programme.
What’s coming up
BOXLESS is hosting a DEI Leaders Hangout – a relaxed space for those working in diversity and inclusion to connect and support each other. It’s invite-only, but if it sounds like your kind of space, get in touch via Em@boxless.uk.
Also coming up is BARCO’s fifth carnival on 26th July in St Ann’s Well Gardens. It’s free, family-friendly, and widely celebrated as one of Brighton’s most diverse community events.
How you can get involved
Come along to the carnival and keep an eye out for DEI resources that we’ll be sharing soon. If you’re curious about this work, we’d love to have you involved.
Mickey – Creative Arts + Culture
What she's been working on
Mickey recently wrapped a powerful short documentary that highlights the real-life impact of austerity in the UK, told through the story of a disabled woman fighting to retain her PIP (Personal Independence Payment) benefit - a struggle that many face but few have the opportunity to share on a public platform. The project was created by and centred on disabled women from working-class backgrounds. This was not only a deeply personal story for Mickey but also an intentional act of platforming underrepresented voices in the creative arts. As an ambassador for creative art and culture, her mission is to diversify the kinds of stories we tell and the artists we uplift — and this project embodies that vision entirely.
What’s coming up
She's about to launch a monthly short film screening series at Projects - Friday Film Club. Each month will spotlight stories that challenge, move or inspire – creating space for community connection and reflection around social justice and lived experience. Stay tuned to hear when the fist one will be!
How you can get involved
Come along to the Friday Film Club and help spread the word. And if you know a filmmaker whose work fits the theme, put them in touch – building community around these stories is what it’s all about.
Mica Janiv - Environmental Stewardship
What she’s been working on
Mica is a passionate advocate for sustainable fashion, systems change and circular economy thinking, and she’s been bringing that energy into the Projects community in a big way. This Earth Day, she hosted a hugely successful Clothes Swap with us – and the impact was impressive.
Together, we kept 280 garments in circulation and made a real dent in environmental waste:
4.2 tonnes of CO₂ saved – the same as skipping a 10,000-mile road trip
700,000 litres of water saved – enough to fill 280 bathtubs
42 kg of pesticides avoided – that’s over 280 bags of sugar’s worth
560 kg of chemicals and fertilisers avoided – equal to the weight of 40 fully packed suitcases
As Mica put it, “Swapping instead of shopping = real climate action.”
This wasn’t just about saving resources – it was about shifting perspectives on consumption, fashion, and sustainability. Projects members left with refreshed wardrobes, lighter footprints, and a deeper understanding of how small actions can lead to big change.
How to get involved
Stay tuned for more eco-conscious events and climate-focused community gatherings from Mica and connect with her on LinkedIn.
